This Gewurztraminer is completely dry with enough acidity to create a very lively wine filled with the spicy tropical flavors so characteristic of this varietal. This wine is excellent with spicy meals, with lunches and is a wonderful light flavorful aperitif.

The vintning process we use results in a dry wine with no residual sugars, unlike Gewurztraminer you would typically find in the marketplace.  This wine is also aged in oak for one to two years--which again is not typical of Gewurztraminer.

The dry wine, combined with the oak aging, gives the wine a depth not normally found, and gives the wine a "freshness", as contrasted with the sweetness typically found in other Gewurztraminers

We recommend that all of our wines be drunk at room temperature to draw out the nuances of flavor.  The only exception would be to slightly chill the Gewurztraminer if drunk on a hot summer day.
